The City requires that as part of the purchase, the proposed project must meet our design standards and the project must be started within one year of the site acquisition. Purchasing property from the City of De Pere follows this process:
- Offer to Purchase Letter
- Approval by Finance Committee and Personnel Committee
- Development of Purchase or Sale Agreement
- Approval of Site Plan and Building Elevations by Plan Commission
- Approval of Purchase or Sale Agreement by the City Common Council
- Closing on Property
