Compost & Yard Waste Facility
Location:
The Compost Facility located at 655 Rockland Road, De Pere.
Hours:
The site is open 7 days a week from dawn until dusk.
Who can use the Compost Facility?
This site is open to residents of the City of De Pere and Town of Ledgeview. Contractor use is prohibited.
Accepted items:
Residents may bring their loose leaves, grass clippings, garden waste, and brush to the City’s Compost Facility.
Unacceptable items:
Rocks/stone/concrete, trash, timbers/lumber, dirt, and used mulch/wood chips are not accepted at this location.
Is there anything I can take out of the Compost Facility?
Residents are able to pick up wood chips, mulch, and logs at no charge when available.
If you do plan to use mulch, consider checking out these tips from our De Pere Forestry division for proper usage to help ensure the health of your home plants and trees.

- Hours: Drop Off hours for Bulky/Metal Items and Waste Oil are April through November, Wednesdays 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Office hours are Monday-Thursday 6:30 am - 4:00 pm and Friday 6:30 am - 10:30 am.
