Background & History
The Nelson Family Pavilion was made possible through the generous support of the David L. and Rita E. Nelson Family Fund, as well as numerous contributions from local community groups and partners. David and Rita Nelson, who spent much of their lives in Wisconsin, were passionate about supporting their community, and their legacy lives on through this beautiful new venue. Their donation, along with the backing of other dedicated community donors, underscores the strong spirit of collaboration that defines the City of De Pere.
The Nelson Family Pavilion was officially opened in July 2024.
